About Heating, Cooling & Electric Solutions
- Heating, Cooling & Electric Solutions
The Queens HVAC team that explains the problem before it touches your wallet.
If you’ve ever had the heat go out before a cold night, or the AC quit in July, you know the worst part isn’t the broken system. It’s the second problem: who do I call, and are they going to take advantage of me?
We started Heating, Cooling & Electric Solutions because we kept hearing the same Queens horror stories — the five hours of labor billed for one hour of work, the “it can’t be fixed” that somehow turned into a new system, the company that showed up late and left the problem exactly where it was. So we built our whole business around the opposite of that: explain the problem in plain English, give you honest options, and never touch a repair until you’ve said yes to the price.
We’re not the biggest name in Queens. We’re the one that treats your house — and your money — like it’s ours.

Four things we promise — and you can hold us to.
Repair first, replace only when it's truly smarter.
If your system can be fixed at a fair cost, we fix it. We'll only recommend replacement when repair stops making financial sense — and we'll show you exactly why.
You approve the price before any work starts.
No repair begins, no extra labor appears, and no final replacement quote is locked in without your okay. You're always in control of what you're spending.
Plain English, every time.
We tell you what's actually wrong, what's urgent, what can wait, and what it'll cost — in language that makes sense, not technician jargon. Then the decision is yours.
One team for the whole comfort system.
Heating, cooling, boilers, electrical, and plumbing-heating often overlap in older Queens homes. We handle all of it, so you're not stuck refereeing between three contractors who blame each other.
How a visit actually works: the No-Surprise Diagnostic
Think of it like a check-engine light for your home. You don't need to know what's wrong — you need someone honest to find out and explain it before it turns into a bigger bill.
You tell us the symptom.
No heat, AC running but not cooling, uneven rooms, a boiler acting up, a strange noise, a spiking bill. Whatever you're seeing, that's where we start.
We inspect the whole comfort chain.
Not just the obvious part. We check the system, airflow, controls, thermostat, electrical, refrigerant or coil issues, and boiler/radiator balance — because a quick patch on the wrong cause is why problems come back.
We explain it in plain English.
What's wrong, what's urgent, what's optional, and what it costs. No jargon, no scare tactics.
You get honest options.
Repair-first when it makes sense, replacement guidance only when it's genuinely the smarter long-term call. You choose.
We do the approved work, then confirm it's fixed.
Nothing happens until you say yes. When we're done, we make sure the problem is actually solved and tell you what to watch for next.
We know Queens houses — not just “HVAC.”
A lot of Queens homes aren't suburban new-builds. They're one- and two-family houses, co-ops, and older buildings with steam boilers, radiators that run hot in one room and cold in the next, no ductwork, or a mix of PTAC and mini-split units. Generic “we do HVAC” companies oversize boilers and misdiagnose old systems all the time. We don't, because this is the housing stock we work in every day.
We regularly handle:
Before you book, here’s what homeowners usually want to know.
Will you charge a diagnostic fee, and will you pressure me?
No pressure. We charge a diagnostic fee, typically between $179 and $250 depending on the issue, location, and urgency. If you approve the recommended repair, that fee may be credited toward the repair where applicable. Either way, we confirm the fee before dispatch and explain your options before any work begins.
Will you try to sell me a whole new system?
Only if your current system genuinely can't be repaired at a fair cost — and we'll show you why. Repair comes first when it makes sense.
Do you serve my neighborhood?
We work across Queens, including Flushing, Fresh Meadows, Forest Hills, Rego Park, Elmhurst, Ridgewood, Glendale, Maspeth, Middle Village, Woodside, Sunnyside, Astoria, Long Island City, Jackson Heights, Jamaica, Woodhaven, and nearby areas. Not sure if you're in range? Call and ask.
Can you come quickly?
We offer same-day and emergency availability whenever scheduling allows, especially for urgent no-heat and no-cooling calls during peak winter and summer months. If we’re booked, we’ll tell you the earliest realistic window instead of leaving you guessing.
Do you understand older homes, boilers, radiators, co-ops, and ductless systems?
Yes — that's the housing stock we work in every day. Queens homes often have older boilers, radiator balance issues, no ductwork, mixed comfort systems, PTAC units, mini-splits, and electrical or plumbing-heating crossover problems.
Will the repair actually last?
We stand behind approved work and explain any parts, labor, or manufacturer warranty that applies before you approve the job. Warranty terms can vary by repair, replacement, part, and system type, so we’ll make the coverage clear upfront.
Stop guessing. Get a clear, honest diagnosis for your Queens home.
Tell us what's going on. We'll explain what's wrong, give you real options, and you decide — no pressure, no surprise charges.
